Dear Asher ( A letter to My Unborn Son)

Dear Asher,

You are my first son; this is your prerogative. Always remember that Membership has its Privileges, and even God in heaven has said this to me of you my son:”Blessed above sons is Asher; let him be acceptable to his brothers, and let him dip his foot in oil~Deuteronomy 33:24″

“I have researched and realized that; A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest–a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty~Albert Einstein”

Many sons have been born to this earth but you are My First Male Seed and So the principal Pillar that would be established on upon my laid foundations.”Counsel in the heart of man is like water in a deep well, but a man of understanding draws it out”. It is an abysmal dismal , the present situations faced in our blessed Nation. I am of a generation lost to the antecedents of a failed transition from third world to first world.

Matters arise that must be deciphered, for life is a puzzle. A wise man once said “that In youth we learn in age we understand” you must spend your early years gaining knowledge, my son, you must love knowing; for with this passion the keys to the treasure rooms of this desolate world would be handed over to you.

Again I apologize on behalf of my generation, we have failed to think about you and your peers, partially because we still believe that we ourselves are youths or young! We are still entwined in the politics of your grandfather and his own colleagues , but Son you are “The lion, which is mightiest among beasts and turns not back before any”; having confidence you shall outshine the darkness and become a forerunner in the second Embarkment.

“The glory of young men is their strength, and the beauty of old men is their gray head [suggesting wisdom and experience]”Take from your father his words of experience as he has from his father before him, know that the best life has to offer has been hidden in form of mysteries. One of such is the mystery of oneness. Consider this and be wise “Two are better than one, because they have a good [more satisfying] reward for their labor; For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!-Ecclesiastes 4:9-12”.

The woman you take as your wife must be one of great standing; she must share and support you. Your wife must be your column, with this understanding you must take your time before you select a woman of choice. For this single process would determine the extent to which you succeed in life .
The right wife “will wisely train the young women to be sane and sober of mind (temperate, disciplined) and to love their husbands and their children, To be self- controlled, chaste, homemakers, good- natured (kindhearted), adapting and subordinating themselves to their husbands, this is the way to preserve a Good name. Remember that ” Your castles and strongholds shall have bars of iron and bronze, and as your day, so shall your strength, your rest and security, be”

The matters of life are to be embraced and taken with ease for in the end, You Also shall have then length of Your Days be Numbered and stock and account shall be taken and giving to the Almighty. Be gentle , kind , peaceful , just and know that You are Asher!
