I’m Odera Macfoy Akachukwu; husband, father, author, speaker, and entrepreneur. I’ve spent my life turning challenges into stepping stones (because, really, what’s the better alternative?). Growing up in Nigeria with dyslexia wasn’t exactly easy, but resilience, faith, and a solid community taught me that obstacles aren’t roadblocks but plot twists to a life of purpose.

Leading & Giving Back

I serve on the board of IDA Dallas, supporting educational initiatives, research, and community programs that uplift individuals with dyslexia, a cause deeply personal to me. I’m also involved with Genesis Young Leaders (GYL), working to eliminate family violence through volunteerism, education, and community awareness, because real change starts with action.

Expertise & Achievements

As a Member of the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria (CIPMN), I uphold best practices in project management strategy and leadership. I earned my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI in January 2021 (Credential ID 2937028), demonstrating my commitment to effective and ethical project execution.

My passion for innovation led me to complete Generative AI Overview for Project Managers (PMI) in September 2023, equipping me with the latest AI-driven solutions for modern project environments. I also hold a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification from APICS (June 2021), reinforcing my expertise in operational efficiency and global supply chain management.

In March 2021, I achieved my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification, mastering process optimization to drive continuous improvement across industries. These credentials reflect my dedication to strategic problem-solving, efficiency, and cutting-edge leadership.
